I was born and raised in Newport Beach and moved to The South Bay about five years ago with my fiancé, Ross, and our two cats, Korra and Kombucha. Yes, we named our cat after Kombucha tea and even used to brew our own! Korra is named after a show as I'm obsessed with tv and film. Before starting my photography business I was a film major, I studied film editing as well as producing. During college I started working in the industry as a film editor and production assistant. Although I realized that the film industry was not where my heart was at, I still love studying & talking about films! In fact I use a lot of film elements in my photography work. For example, posing ideas along with composition and storytelling.
I am a night owl and can stay up all night playing guitar, listening to music, watching my favorite tv shows - the list goes on. Although I am trying to get a good morning routine down and start waking up and working out early! So hopefully one day soon I'll be morning person haha!
When I'm not working on my business I love walking down to the beach, grabbing a juice from Kreation, tacos from Tacolicious or an oat milk latte from Two Guns Espresso. If you've never tried any of those spots and are in the South Bay, I highly recommend visiting them! On the weekends I love driving down to Newport to visit my family. We love driving down PCH, grabbing a chai latte from Alta or tea from one of our many favorite boba spots. Besides that I'm a type 9 and a Taurus for anyone that loves enneagrams & horoscopes.
I've always had a love for capturing moments through film and photography, especially out in nature. As someone that loves to hike and camp I knew that I wanted to focus on weddings & elopements that are near the beach, mountains or desert. My favorite shoots take place on the beaches in LA & OC, nature trails in Laguna Beach & Palos Verdes and deserts like Joshua Tree.
My background in film is a big influence on my photography style. I focus on telling stories through the photos I capture. I do this by capturing the emotions that are felt throughout the day, the surroundings/ landscape and all the in-between moments. I think of your special day as a romantic film and I’m here to capture it for you to both relive!
At the end of the day I want you both to look back on these photos and be reminded of how it felt while you were getting ready in the morning to your first kiss to dancing with your loved ones.
If you love how I approach weddings and elopements, let’s chat so I can hear about your love story and vision for your big day!
Regardless of the type of session, I focus on capturing your true essence.
I send out a couple’s questionnaire before your session. Your answers will help me plan a session that reflects who you two are together. If you are more quiet and intimate then the session will have more of that vibe and vice versa.
Although most of my photos are not posed, I do like to take a couple of you both smiling directly at the camera! The majority of the session is focused on prompts and directions, allowing me to capture movement as well as your genuine reactions.
Although film is not my job anymore I still love to study films & use it as a way for inspiration. I love that films can make us feel so many emotions and tell a story that makes us, the viewers, feel a part of. That is what I aspire to do with the photos I take.
I love learning about history and watching time period pieces. It wasn't until I had to take an art history class though that I realized how much I loved paintings and sculptures from pre 1900's. My favorite museum is The Getty and one painter that I've been inspired by is Rembrandt. I especially love how he captures emotion and movement in his paintings.
Besides that I am inspired by nature, music, and love. I feel most creative when I'm in the outdoors or listening to my favorite songs. One of my current favorite albums is O, by Damien Rice!
One of my favorite things to do is grab our tent and head out to Joshua Tree for a weekend. Ross took me there when we first started dating back in 2012 and we've been going back ever since. I love waking up in the outdoors and getting ready for a full day of exploring, then coming back in the evening and starting a campfire. My favorite part though is laying on the rocks and just listening to everything around me. It's so relaxing!
When I'm at home & have the day off, I love walking down to the beach, listening to Ross play piano, practicing guitar, watching my favorite tv shows and playing video/ computer games.

Easily the best photographer experience I have had to date. Natasha was our photographer for our engagement photoshoot and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! First off, I asked Natasha for a recommendation for a beach to shoot at and she lead us into a little secret pathway to the most beautiful area! She made me and my fiance feel such at ease. She has a background in cinematography so she REALLY knows how to get the best lighting and angles. When I received my "sneak peek" I was literally SPEECHLESS! The photos turned out STUNNING and they exceeded my expectations! So much so, I asked Natasha to take photos for my beach picnic for my bachelorette and all of the girls LOVED her! (One of my girlfriends had the BEST experience at the beach photoshoot so she even asked for Natasha's contact information to take her engagement photos as well!!) Overall, I have nothing but praise for Natasha, she is the kindest human being and her photo's reflect skill and a superior aesthetic eye!"
"Natasha is so warm and just so easy to be around. My fiancé and I felt so comfortable during the entire session. We also had so much fun because we were able to just be ourselves. We were also able to easily just voice out our requests or insecurities because Natasha was so receptive and understanding. From the inquiry, booking until after the shoot, Natasha has just been so patient and so easy to talk to. We wanted to have a fun and unforgettable experience with an engagement shoot and that’s what we definitely got with Natasha. 10/10 will recommend!!!"
"Natasha is a dream to work with. She was super quick to respond to my inquiry and helped plan out some important details for my mini wedding ceremony. Her website and guides are so useful and it's clear that Natasha puts in a lot of thought into all aspects of her work. She rolled with our day and helped make my partner and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. We loved her vision for the photos, and our jaws dropped when we received the gallery of photos! Absolutely beautiful and unique. Our friends and family were also raving about the photos and said we made a great choice in booking with Natasha- we agree! I hope we get to work with Natasha again because she is the sweetest and most talented!"
"Wow. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. She responded quickly when I inquired about using her and was in communication up until our session. The tide was extremely high the evening of our photo shoot. She allowed us to take some pictures and change our location without any push back. She was eager to find somewhere to meet our needs and didn’t sabotage our time slot. My husband isn’t big on pictures but by the end of the session he was asking for specific shots. She was so sweet and so great to work with I cannot recommend her enough. The timeliness, kindness, and attention to detail is worth every penny. If you are searching for a photographer in her area look no further. She’s your girl."
